Sometimes when I look around the city of Phoenix I see nothing but ugly dead grass, desert landscape, smog, and buildings with no character. To be honest, it's really not the prettiest of places. However, there are certain areas of Phoenix that are the complete opposite. This past weekend I was itching to get out of the house to explore Phoenix with my camera in hand. It's a lot more fun to do this while it's in the mid 70's and not 115 outside (yay for winter in Arizona)!
I thought a little about where I should explore & instantly decided on Mill Ave. in the city of Tempe. A 5-10 minute drive from my home and a place I've never really seen in the day light. I've only been to Mill Ave. for the nightlife, so I was quite surprised when I saw the beauty and character it had to offer.

Phoenix is so cool! Ive only visited once but I had a ton of fun. Its so different from where I live!
